Wine tastings are back at Locanda Solagna

Wine events return to Locanda Solagna, bringing back the tastings we love most — with the wineries closest to our heart and the producers themselves sharing the stories behind the labels, vintages, and glasses that make us dream.

And as every year, the first event could only take us back to Piedmont, with an evening dedicated to lovers of the great wines of the Langhe: a Barolo vertical tasting by Trediberri, one of the most distinctive and fascinating wineries in La Morra.

A sensory journey guided directly by Federico Oberto of Trediberri, designed for an intimate group of just 16 guests, to offer an even more personal, technical, and deeply engaging experience.

An Exclusive Tasting: Barolo and Crus in a Vertical Lineup

The evening will be dedicated to a vertical journey through some of Trediberri’s most representative labels, comparing vintages and crus to help you recognize how Barolo evolves over time — the producer’s touch, the character of each vineyard, and the nuances that only patience and terroir can reveal.

In the tasting we will have

Barolo Berri DOCG

Three vintages side by side:

  • 2020
  • 2016
  • 2017

Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata DOCG

Three vintages of one of La Morra’s most prestigious crus:

  • 2019
  • 2015
  • 2012

Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2018

A pure and straightforward expression of its terroir.

Locanda Solagna’s pairing proposal

To accompany the tasting, the kitchen at Locanda Solagna presents a selection of dishes designed to complement the structure, depth, and elegance of the Barolos being poured:

  • Cesen venison carpaccio with red berries
  • Pacchero pasta with pumpkin cream and crispy guanciale
  • Grilled Polish flank steak with seasonal sides
  • Locanda’s sbrisolona

A gastronomic journey crafted to enhance tannins, freshness, aromatic complexity, and the evolving character of each vintage.

Why this vertical tasting is unmissable

This vertical tasting is much more than a classic wine experience: it’s a chance to read time inside the wine, to understand how a vintage, a cru, and the producer’s hand evolve over the years. And above all, it’s an opportunity to explore it face‑to‑face with the person who shapes the wine every day, from vineyard work to aging.

With Trediberri — a young, free‑spirited winery deeply rooted in the Langhe — the vertical becomes an authentic portrait of contemporary Barolo: essential, terroir‑driven, direct, free of unnecessary embellishments.
